Lucas Moura is hoping to prove a point to Unai Emery when Tottenham face Arsenal at the Emirates.
The North London rivals go head-to-head in an eagerly-anticipated Premier League encounter on Sunday afternoon, with Tottenham just three points above their neighbours.
And Moura is determined to prove Emery - who is taking charge of his first North London derby as Arsenal manager - wrong after the pair worked with each other at Ligue 1 giants PSG.
The Brazilian was forced to move to Tottenham in January from PSG after he fell down the pecking order under Emery following the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
And Moura, who has impressed at Tottenham in his first full season at the club, is now eager for his football to do the talking on Sunday.
'I believe in my talent,' he told the Mirror. 'In my quality. I try to show it - him - at Spurs.
'I forget the last five or six months I had at PSG. I like to think about the four years when I was very happy there and won a lot of trophies. The last year was to learn and to grow up. Now I think I'm more experienced and stronger.'
When asked whether Emery, who took over at Arsenal in the summer, had ever explained why he was not playing him, Moura responded: 'No.
'I need to respect the decision of the coach. I know that it's difficult for him because he needs to choose 11 players to play. I don't like to look behind. I like to look forward to what I can do, what I can win.
'I have nothing against Unai, I respect him, he is a very good coach.'
