Bernd Leno claims goalkeepers need to get intense in Britain since they get 'no security' from officials.
The 26-year-old has shown up for Arsenal in his first season since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in the mid year.
What's more, he concedes he has seen a 'major contrast' between the premier league and the Bundesliga.
'Everything here is significantly more physical. The officials let the game run significantly more here than they do in the Bundesliga or even in global games', he told Sports Bild.
'As a goalkeeper, you have no assurance in Britain. Subsequently, you need to gain colossal strength.
'Regardless of how you approach it, you generally need to expect that nothing gets whistled.
'Since I've come to Britain, I haven't seen a goalkeeper win a solitary free kick inside the penalty zone. That is a major contrast.'
