Odion Ighalo Helps Shanghai Shenhua To Win On Debut


2019 Africa Measure of Countries driving scorer Odion Ighalo has made his introduction for Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua.

The previous Changchun Yatai man rejected advances from best European clubs previously fixing an exchange to Shanghai Shenhua on February 14 for a charge of 15 million euros, with two youthful Chinese players moving the other way.

Ighalo was given his introduction on Saturday evening as Shanghai Shenhua whipped Dalian Yifang 3-0 in their last warmup game in front of the new season.

A moment after the interim, the new Shanghai Shenhua number nine botched an opportunity to expand the lead when his shot was blocked.

Shanghai Shenhua's season opener comes up Friday, Walk 1 against city rivals Shanghai SIPG, which will be Quique Sánchez Flores' first aggressive amusement in the hole since his arrangement as coach in December 2018.

Ighalo was the second most elevated goalscorer with 21 Goals in 28 appearances in his second full season in China.
