Ronaldo on his 34th birthday: I want to thank the fans for their birthday wishes

Cristiano Ronaldo pronounces he is 'upbeat' to praise his 34th birthday celebration at Juventus as 'I'm having an incredible affair' in Turin.

"I'm upbeat to celebrate here in Italy, it's pleasant," he revealed to Juventus television.

"I need to thank the fans for their birthday wishes and the warmth they've appeared.

"I'm having an extraordinary involvement with Juve and I'm fortunate to play in Serie A. Everybody treats me great here, particularly at Juve, and I truly like Turin: it's delightful and serene.

"Both my family and I are extremely cheerful. The group are enormously, we're fine, we're best of the league and in the knockout phases of the Champions league, other than having officially won a trophy. We're prepared for the matches coming up."
